Our team of experienced counselors uses a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practises, to help our clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviours. We believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing both the mind and body.
Marriage Counselling is an excellent way of approaching unhelpful behaviors, poor conflict management and managing issues around physical and emotional connection. Mae is trained in Gottman Method Couples therapy and currently holds certification for Gottman Method Couple Therapy Level 1 & Level 2.
Counselling can be incredibly beneficial in discussing sensitive topics such as pre-natal anxiety, post natal depression (also known as "Baby Blues") and the onset of menopause. These topics often hold a stigma within society that often leave women alienated and alone, however, let me assure you are not alone and it is ok to feel like you are not ok!
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and lethargy are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. With our counselling service Mae can help you try to overcome these hardships and guide you through the process of grief and healing to maximise your quality of life.
